A Victim Of "The Numbers"

Scott is back in AAA, not because of his performance, but because of too many good pitchers in the bullpen. Sun-Woo Kim has come back from an injury, and someone had to go down to make room. I don't expect Scott to stay in AAA very long. He's having a good year and I'm expecting him to finish up strong.

Update

Scott had a rough outing last night, walking 3 before getting pulled.
Ah, it happens. I'm sure he's not happy about it, but he has to be pretty pleased with this season. His numbers look good, and the team is doing quite well.

Update

Scott continues to throw well as the season progresses.
Looks like his confidence is back, and the bullpen seems to be gelling.

Quick Stat: Lefties are batting .077 vs Scott this season.

Update From Houston

I got to attend the game last night against the Astros.
Not a great start to the series, I can tell you.
Jason Jennings did not throw a bad game, the 'stros were just on fire. Probably had a lot to do with the whooping we gave them in Colorado.
Scott gave up 3 runs, but let me vent. A few bleeder hits and one legit hit by Preston. But catcher's interference??? Who gets on base with that? Ah well, if you feel good about getting on base in that fashion, more power to ya.

Anyway, we're going to the game tonight at 6:05. I'm hoping for a better showing, as we are surrounded by Astros fans by a ratio of about 300:1.

Go Rox!

Update

Due to the fantastic pitching from the starters, Scott's appearances have been limited.
However, he has done a great job when he did pitch.
We're hoping to watch him pitch this weekend against Houston. It's as close to home as he will get!

Rolling

Scott threw a perfect inning last night against the Reds.
It would appear that Scott is in control on the mound, he looks confident and his stats are reflecting it.

Keep it up Scott!

Mixed Feelings

I actually got to see Scott's inning last night on tv, so I feel like I can comment on it.
The pitch to Jones was not a bad pitch by any means. It was low and inside. Andruw is a great hitter, he put it to the wall.

Scott allowed Cook's runner from first to score, but it wasn't marked against Scott.
So, he did get himself out without an EARNED run, but he didn't get the save.

I still feel like Scott is throwing very well, he looks to be in command and confident. A win would have been really nice though.
