Bounce Back

Scott recovered nicely last night by throwing a perfect 8th inning. The Rox put together a string of hits early to get the win over the Rangers.

At Least They're Out Of The Way Now

Until last night, Scott hadn't given up a HR all year. Last night, he gave up back to back. However, they were to 2 of the most dangerous hitters in baseball: Teixeira and Blalock.
So, on a positive note.... the homeruns are out of the way. No more pressure.
Here's to making them the only 2 of the season.

Go Scott!

First Win

Congratulations to Scott, who got his first win Wednesday against the Pirates.
He threw two and a third scoreless innings.
Things are looking up for Scott and the team, hopefully they can string together a few wins!

Update

Although they were not stellar innings, Scott threw 2 scoreless ones last night against the Pirates.
I got to watch him throw, and while he was not on top of his game... his slider was amazing. He had a few batters just waving at it.

His ERA is down to 4.08 I believe...

Nice To Hear Compliments

Triple-A relief: Right-hander Scott Dohmann, demoted to make room for Sun-Woo Kim in the bullpen, has thrown four scoreless innings at Colorado Springs. He has struck out seven against two hits and one walk. Colorado Springs pitching coach Chuck Kniffin said Dohmann has provided leadership during a short period.
"We have a lot of guys here that are in Triple-A for the first time," Kniffin said. "Sometimes a guy will come down from the Major League club and for a period of time it takes a few days to get over his disappointment, but not Scotty. The day he got here, I asked if everything was all right and he said, 'Fine, let's get after it.' He's bee a real pro.
"I look for good things from Scotty. He's got two quality pitches [fastball and slider] and great work habits. Hopefully, everybody else picks up on it."

Reinstated

Scott has been reinstated with the Rockies after about a 10 day stint with the AAA Skysox.
Hopefully Scott can contribute and stop the landslide losses against the Marlins.
