Last night, Scott's slider was so fierce that the announcers in Atlanta could not helping laughing at the silly attempts to hit it.
One badly placed fastball got hit into right center, then a little weak grounder to third got misplayed by Garrett Atkins to allow a run.
No biggie. I don't think Scott threw any fastballs under 96. It was quite an outing.

Hurricane Rita
Has kept me occupied until now. Sorry about the lack of updates.
Anyways, my parents are coming back today with lots of pictures from their stay in Colorado. Scott has had good outings this week, and will probably throw against Atlanta tonight.
What a cruddy update, huh?

Update
Scott continues to shine as the season twilights.
Here is a good article from ColoradoRockies.com
My parents (Scott's In-Laws) are flying to Colorado today, to watch Scott's rampage first hand.... so everyone be nice to them when they get there!
Hopefully my pop can get some good photos to last us through the off-season, which I will mix in with some goose hunting pictures. I know you guys can't wait for that.
I'm happy to see my parents go up to Colorado and experience the beauty the town has to offer, along with the exciting baseball coming up this week!!

zzzZZZZZZZzzz
Sorry, I have been slacking this week.. I actually had work to do......
In any case, Scott is doing well. I am still waiting for a recent picture of his new beard. I have to see it to believe it.
Don't forget to click on the link to his stats ------>

Respect
From the Rockymountainnews.com site:
"...LIGHTS OUT: Right-handed relief pitcher Scott Dohmann picked up the second win of his career after striking out two in a scoreless 10th inning.
Dohmann has collected both of his wins since he was recalled Aug. 2.
In 13 games during that span, Dohmann has allowed one earned run in 13 2/3 innings. Dohmann was on the Opening Day roster but was sent to Colorado Springs after allowing 14 earned runs in 6 2/3 innings..."

Chalk Up A Win
Scott is smoking.
On fire.
Enfuego.
He is all of these things.
A great inning today against the Dodgers to get the win!
Coloradorockies.com had this mention:
"...In the top of the final inning, Rockies reliever Scott Dohmann (2-1) shook off a leadoff walk and a two-out bloop double by Jose Valentin that put runners at the corners to work Dioner Navarro into a fly ball to center. Dohmann, who has held opponents to one earned run in 13 2/3 innings since being recalled from the Minors on Aug. 8, struck out two..."
By The Way: Scott is sporting a new look? A beard, perhaps? Maybe he saw what was posted here by the Audience Participation and decided on one? I hope it wasn't the one his wife posted!

Update
Thanks to Lonnie for writing in to report Scott's ERA for August, a measly 0.77!
Scott threw a scoreless inning yesterday against the Giants, whom he has had some bouts with earlier this year.
Congratulations!
