Nice To Hear Compliments

Triple-A relief: Right-hander Scott Dohmann, demoted to make room for Sun-Woo Kim in the bullpen, has thrown four scoreless innings at Colorado Springs. He has struck out seven against two hits and one walk. Colorado Springs pitching coach Chuck Kniffin said Dohmann has provided leadership during a short period.
"We have a lot of guys here that are in Triple-A for the first time," Kniffin said. "Sometimes a guy will come down from the Major League club and for a period of time it takes a few days to get over his disappointment, but not Scotty. The day he got here, I asked if everything was all right and he said, 'Fine, let's get after it.' He's bee a real pro.
"I look for good things from Scotty. He's got two quality pitches [fastball and slider] and great work habits. Hopefully, everybody else picks up on it."
